Job Description
We are hiring a skilled and proactive IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage, support, and enhance our organization’s IT infrastructure. This role involves maintaining networks, servers, hardware, and software systems, ensuring smooth operations, minimizing downtime, and securing critical IT assets. As an IT Infra Engineer, you will play a vital part in implementing scalable infrastructure solutions to meet evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and monitor internal servers, network devices, firewalls, and data center infrastructure.

Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, routers, switches, and storage systems.

Ensure IT systems’ uptime, availability, and performance through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.

Monitor infrastructure capacity and recommend upgrades or changes to meet performance demands.

Provide technical support for infrastructure-related issues and escalations.

Ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies, and data protection protocols.

Document infrastructure changes, configurations, incidents, and system performance.

Collaborate with vendors, procurement teams, and IT support staff for infrastructure planning.

Evaluate and test new infrastructure technologies and solutions for enterprise readiness.

Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability systems.
Qualifications and Skills Required

B.E./B.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

2–6 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration.

Strong understanding of Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations.

Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).

Familiarity with IT security practices and compliance requirements.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and respond promptly to system issues or service outages.

Certification in CCNA, MCSA, or similar will be a strong advantage.
