Job Overview:
We are hiring an experienced Manager – Electrical Engineering for a reputed Cement Manufacturing Company. This role is ideal for professionals with strong technical expertise in electrical systems, maintenance, and process improvement within large-scale cement or similar industrial operations. The candidate will be responsible for the planning, execution, and monitoring of all electrical-related functions across the plant to ensure consistent operations, energy efficiency, and equipment reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, execution, and maintenance of all electrical installations across the cement plant.

Monitor performance and reliability of HT/LT systems, switchyards, transformers, motors, and drives.

Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

Coordinate with project and operations teams for new installations and equipment upgrades.

Ensure adherence to all electrical safety, legal, and regulatory compliances.

Maintain and analyze energy consumption data and drive plant-wide energy-saving initiatives.

Troubleshoot major electrical breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.

Liaise with external contractors, equipment manufacturers, and government utilities.

Prepare budgets for electrical operations, monitor costs, and improve efficiency.

Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
Candidate Requirements:

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.

10–18 years of experience in electrical operations and maintenance in cement or process industries.

Strong knowledge of HT/LT equipment, motor control centers, drives, substations, and automation systems.

Practical exposure to PLC/SCADA systems and energy management tools.

Good understanding of electrical safety protocols and statutory guidelines.

Hands-on experience in managing teams and coordinating with cross-functional departments.
Preferred Profile:

Prior experience in cement or large-scale heavy industry is preferred.

Exposure to SAP or other maintenance software platforms.

Demonstrated success in cost control and energy optimization projects.
