Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Territory Sales Incharge (TSI) to drive sales growth and expand market presence in the assigned territory. This role demands strong field experience in FMCG sales, distribution management, and channel development. The ideal candidate must possess a proactive mindset and a deep understanding of market and consumer behavior.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle primary and secondary sales targets for the assigned territory.

  • Develop and maintain strong distributor and retailer relationships.

  • Ensure effective implementation of sales promotion strategies and schemes.

  • Monitor and analyze sales trends, competitor activities, and market developments.

  • Lead and guide a team of Sales Representatives or Promoters to drive performance.

  • Ensure product visibility, merchandising, and market coverage through regular market visits.

  • Conduct retail audits, stock checks, and maintain distribution hygiene.

  • Execute marketing and branding activities at the point of sale.

  • Prepare regular MIS reports and share market feedback with the regional sales team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate in any discipline. MBA in Sales/Marketing is preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in general trade.

  • Strong knowledge of retail, distribution networks, and rural/urban sales strategies.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Desired Competencies:

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage and drive field force effectively.

  • Proficiency in sales reporting and MS Excel.

  • Exposure to FMCG supply chain and stock management will be an advantage.
