Job Description
We are looking for ambitious and experienced Area Sales Managers (ASM) or Senior ASMs to drive revenue growth, channel development, and market expansion in designated regions. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales executives, implementing effective strategies, and achieving sales targets aligned with the company’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute area-level sales strategies to meet or exceed regional sales targets.

Manage and mentor a team of field sales executives, distributors, or channel partners.

Develop market intelligence, track competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.

Coordinate with distributors, dealers, and retailers to ensure product availability and visibility.

Monitor daily sales performance, customer feedback, and market conditions in the assigned territory.

Drive product promotions, schemes, and merchandising activities to boost retail push and brand presence.

Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.

Submit timely reports on sales, forecasts, market trends, and team performance.

Conduct regular field visits and training programs for sales staff to improve productivity.

Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams for seamless operations.
Qualifications and Skills Required

Graduation or MBA in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration.

4–8 years of experience in FMCG, consumer durables, retail, or distribution-led industries.

Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing a sales team or distribution network.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using CRM tools, sales dashboards, and Excel-based reporting.

Deep knowledge of regional market dynamics and local customer behavior.
-
Willingness to travel extensively within the territory assigned.
