Job Description
We are hiring a senior-level professional for the role of Head – Procurement & Contracts to lead procurement strategy, contract management, vendor development, and cost control for large-scale housing projects. The ideal candidate must bring deep expertise in real estate procurement and contract execution with a proven track record in residential construction projects.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with project timelines and cost estimates

Lead tendering, negotiation, and finalization of contracts for civil, MEP, finishing, and infrastructure works

Build and manage vendor networks for materials, labor, and services across residential project categories

Ensure legal and contractual compliance in vendor onboarding and procurement documentation
-
Coordinate with project, legal, finance, and design teams for cross-functional procurement support
-
Maintain master procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery of critical materials and services
-
Drive cost optimization, vendor performance evaluation, and long-term supplier relationships
-
Implement risk mitigation strategies in contracting and procurement processes
-
Prepare contract BOQs, rate analysis, and comparative statements

Oversee ERP-based procurement workflows and ensure audit readiness of all procurement files
Qualifications and Skills Required
-
Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related discipline; MBA in Supply Chain/Contracts preferred
-
10–15 years of experience in real estate procurement and contracting for housing projects

Expertise in construction contracts (EPC, turnkey, item rate), vendor management, and rate finalization
-
Strong knowledge of legal terms, technical specs, and cost engineering practices
-
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), and documentation standards
-
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and coordination skills with cross-functional teams
Preferred Background
-
Worked with leading real estate developers or EPC companies managing housing or residential township projects

Exposure to high-rise, affordable, or mid-segment residential construction contracts
Requirements-
At least 10 years of experience in procurement and contract management, specifically in the real estate, infrastructure and hospitality industry. – Strong negotiation skills and extensive knowledge of contract law. – Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. – Fluent in English and Hindi; additional regional language skills are advantageous – Proficient in ERP and procurement software |
