Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team for real estate housing projects. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy crane equipment to move materials, construction machinery, and other loads across the site. This role requires attention to detail, excellent safety practices, and experience working on large-scale construction sites.
Key Responsibilities

Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and place heavy materials and equipment on the construction site

Ensure safe operation of the crane, including daily equipment checks and regular maintenance

Follow load charts and specifications to ensure the correct and safe lifting of materials

Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to plan and execute crane operations effectively

Monitor all site conditions, including wind, weather, and ground conditions, to ensure safe operation
-
Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating cranes on-site

Document daily activities, including hours of operation, materials lifted, and any issues that arise

Assist in coordinating the placement of materials and equipment as per the project plan

Ensure all lifting operations are completed efficiently and in line with project timelines

Maintain a clean and organized work area and crane storage facilities
Qualifications and Skills Required

Certification in crane operation (e.g., NCCCO, OSHA, or equivalent)

Proven experience as a crane operator, preferably in real estate housing projects or large-scale construction

Strong knowledge of crane operation, load charts, safety practices, and site safety regulations

Ability to work under pressure and in all weather conditions

Excellent communication and team coordination skills

Attention to detail and a high regard for safety

Physical stamina and good hand-eye coordination

Ability to read and follow construction plans and blueprints
Preferred Background

Experience in real estate housing or residential building projects

Experience operating different types of cranes (e.g., mobile, tower)

Previous experience working with construction teams and under project deadlines
