Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior Engineer – Civil for a leading construction company. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects. You will assist senior engineers, oversee site activities, and ensure that construction work meets quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing day-to-day site operations under the supervision of senior civil engineers

Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications

Monitor site progress, prepare daily work reports, and update project status

Ensure materials and manpower availability as per project schedules
-
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and labor for smooth execution of civil works
-
Maintain site safety standards and report any deviations or issues
-
Verify contractor bills and assist in quantity estimation and material planning

Conduct quality checks and inspections as per standards and drawings
-
Support in preparing documentation for inspections and handovers

Attend review meetings and update seniors with site reports and findings
Qualifications and Skills Required

Diploma or BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering

0–2 years of experience in construction, preferably residential or commercial projects

Good knowledge of civil engineering concepts, materials, and construction techniques

Ability to read drawings and execute tasks as per design

Strong communication and team coordination skills

Working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and site management tools is a plus
Preferred Background

Freshers with internship experience in construction projects are welcome
