Job Description

We are hiring a proactive and well-connected Liaisoning Officer to coordinate with government departments, local authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely approvals, permits, and clearances for various business and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of statutory processes, and the ability to maintain professional relationships with external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with government departments, municipal bodies, and statutory authorities to obtain necessary licenses, permissions, and approvals.

  • Track, follow up, and expedite documentation processes related to legal, land, project, environmental, and utility clearances.

  • Liaise with internal departments such as legal, engineering, and compliance to align documentation with authority requirements.

  • Maintain updated knowledge of policies, regulations, and government procedures applicable to the industry or project.

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with officers and representatives from government agencies.

  • Prepare and submit documentation, forms, proposals, and reports required for regulatory compliance.

  • Resolve any roadblocks in the approval process by maintaining transparent and effective communication.

  • Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with government officials when required.

  • Maintain a detailed database of all communications, documentation, and approvals received.

  • Ensure all legal and regulatory obligations are fulfilled to avoid delays or penalties.

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Graduation in any discipline; a degree in Law or Public Administration is an added advantage.

  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in liaisoning, preferably in real estate, construction, energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing sectors.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks, land laws, building codes, and licensing procedures.

  • Experience in handling clearances from municipal authorities, electricity boards, pollution control boards, and related bodies.

  • Ability to manage sensitive documentation and follow confidentiality protocols.

  • Comfortable working with both field officers and senior-level government officials.
