Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and well-connected Liaisoning Officer to coordinate with government departments, local authorities, and statutory bodies for regulatory approvals, permits, and compliance related to construction projects. This role is vital to ensure smooth operations, legal alignment, and timely execution of infrastructure and real estate developments.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary liaison between the company and various government departments including municipal bodies, town planning offices, pollution control boards, and land authorities.

Prepare and submit all documentation required for obtaining project-related clearances, NOCs, and licenses.

Track and expedite the status of applications filed with relevant agencies.

Maintain strong professional relationships with officials to ensure favorable communication and resolutions.

Handle documentation related to land acquisition, zoning regulations, construction permits, occupancy certificates, and environmental clearances.

Keep internal teams updated about changes in regulatory norms and coordinate for timely compliance.

Represent the company in official meetings, hearings, or site visits required by authorities.

Maintain accurate records of approvals, correspondence, and legal documentation for audit and reporting purposes.

Advise project teams and management on feasibility based on local government rules and upcoming policy changes.

Liaise with legal consultants to ensure property-related documentation is accurate and complete.
Qualifications and Skills Required

Graduate in any discipline; additional certification in legal, real estate, or urban planning is an advantage.

3–8 years of experience in liaisoning roles with construction, infrastructure, or real estate firms.

Strong network within local government departments and administrative bodies.

Excellent knowledge of construction regulations, environmental laws, and property registration processes.

Good verbal and written communication skills in English and regional languages.

High levels of integrity, confidentiality, and problem-solving ability.

Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
