Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Logistic Incharge to manage day-to-day logistics operations, including dispatch planning, transportation coordination, inventory tracking, and vendor management. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, who can ensure timely deliveries, cost control, and end-to-end visibility across the movement of goods.
As a Logistic Incharge, you will be responsible for managing logistics teams, coordinating with suppliers, customers, and transport vendors, and maintaining smooth outbound and inbound operations.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute dispatch schedules for timely delivery of goods to customers or distribution centers.

Supervise loading/unloading, packaging, documentation, and transport arrangements as per shipment timelines.

Ensure optimal vehicle routing, GPS tracking, and coordination with drivers and transport agencies.

Monitor inventory levels for logistics-related material movement and maintain inward/outward registers.

Liaise with internal departments such as warehouse, procurement, production, and customer service for delivery planning.

Track all consignments and ensure delivery status updates are communicated effectively.

Resolve any logistical issues or transportation delays with quick decision-making.

Maintain accurate records for dispatch, freight billing, gate passes, challans, and proof of delivery (PODs).

Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and transportation standards.

Generate reports on logistics costs, efficiency, and delivery performance for management review.
Qualifications and Skills Required

Graduation or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

2 to 5 years of experience in logistics or dispatch management.

Sound knowledge of transport coordination, vendor negotiations, and documentation handling.

Proficiency in logistics software, Excel, and ERP systems.

Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and time sensitivity.
