Job Overview:

We are hiring experienced and dynamic professionals for the role of Manager / Sr. Manager – Sales in a reputed Cement Manufacturing Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving regional sales targets, handling channel development, dealer/distributor network expansion, and ensuring consistent business growth across assigned territories.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead performance-driven teams, penetrate new markets, and build robust B2B and B2C relationships in a highly competitive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage regional sales operations for cement products in assigned zones or markets.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through channel partners and direct sales teams.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, institutional clients, and key influencers (architects, builders, contractors).

  • Plan and implement effective go-to-market (GTM) strategies to penetrate competitive markets.

  • Track market trends, competitor activities, pricing models, and recommend pricing strategies.

  • Drive volume growth while maintaining profit margins and credit control norms.

  • Conduct regular market visits, customer meets, and fieldwork to assess ground realities and motivate sales teams.

  • Coordinate with logistics, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor and report regional sales performance, budgeting, and forecasting metrics.

  • Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of junior sales staff and field executives.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience (8–15 years) in cement or construction materials sales.

  • Strong background in dealer/distributor handling and institutional sales.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Result-oriented mindset with deep knowledge of rural and urban market dynamics.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; data-driven decision making is a plus.

  • Ability to travel extensively and manage multiple territories.

Preferred Background:

  • Candidates from cement, tiles, paints, building materials, or construction chemical industries will be highly preferred.

  • Regional language proficiency will be an added advantage.
