Positions: Sales Officer (SO), Senior Sales Officer (SSO), Area Sales Manager (ASM)

POSITION DETAILS:

  1. Sales Officer (SO)

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets by promoting products to channel partners, dealers, sub-dealers, contractors, and project sites.
  • Ensure timely collections and manage credit discipline.
  • Maintain product visibility and branding at dealer counters.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners.
  • Conduct site visits and product demos as per schedule.
  • Generate and submit daily sales reports.

Eligibility:

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • 0–2 years of field sales experience (FMCG / Cement / Steel / Paints / Tiles preferred).
  • Freshers with strong field orientation and local knowledge may also apply.
  1. Senior Sales Officer (SSO)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide a team of Sales Officers.
  • Drive secondary and tertiary sales through dealer development and project conversions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contractors, builders, and influencers.
  • Coordinate with the supply chain for timely order fulfilment and stock replenishment.
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing trends in the territory.

Eligibility:

  • Graduate (MBA preferred).
  • 2–4 years of relevant sales experience in construction/building material industries.
  • Strong territory knowledge and distributor management experience.
  1. Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage sales operations across multiple districts.
  • Handle distributor and sub-distributor network development.
  • Plan and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Analyze sales data, forecast demand, and plan inventory.
  • Conduct team reviews, training, and mentoring of SSO/SOs.
  • Resolve escalations and ensure strong market penetration.

Eligibility:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business or Marketing.
  • 4–7 years of sales leadership experience in construction materials (Cement, Steel, Paints, Pipes, Tiles, etc.).
  • Proven record in managing large territories and leading sales teams.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Compensation: Industry-best salary + sales incentives + travel allowances

  • Languages: Local language of the area + Hindi/English mandatory
