Job Description
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic Junior Sales Officers to support sales and distribution functions for leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) brands. This is a great opportunity for freshers or entry-level professionals to learn field sales, understand retail operations, and build a strong foundation in the FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in achieving primary and secondary sales targets in the assigned area.

Support sales teams in developing and maintaining relationships with distributors and retailers.

Help implement promotional activities, branding efforts, and visibility drives in retail markets.

Visit market regularly to gather feedback and monitor competitor presence.

Prepare and share daily market working reports, stock updates, and sales feedback.

Assist with order booking, scheme explanation, and resolving trade-related queries.

Learn and implement beat plans, coverage schedules, and customer engagement techniques.

Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and replenishment of goods.

Understand basic sales analytics and use insights to improve field effectiveness.

Report to the Sr. Sales Officer or Area Sales Manager and follow sales guidance.
Qualifications and Skills Required

Graduate in any stream; candidates pursuing an MBA in Marketing will have an added advantage.

0–2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in FMCG or retail sectors.

Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently on field tasks and meet targets.

Basic knowledge of MS Office and reporting tools.

Strong willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced sales environment.
Preferred Background

Internship or entry-level experience in FMCG sales or marketing will be an added benefit.

Familiarity with local market dynamics and customer behavior.
